KEY ISSUES

Raising the Bar for Our Community – Real Action, Real Change
Communities across Charlotte are facing significant challenges in securing affordable housing and accessing essential resources.
Many neighborhoods continue to struggle with safety concerns, contributing to a growing sense of vulnerability among residents. Additionally, mental health services remain underfunded citywide, making it difficult for families to receive the support they need and deserve.

Housing, Accountability & Community Resources
Many Charlotte residents continue to face housing instability and limited access to critical services.
City programs and nonprofits often fall short, with little oversight and few measurable results. Greater accountability is urgently needed.

Community Safety
Public safety remains a pressing concern in many Charlotte neighborhoods. Business owners are often hesitant to report crime, and residents lack confidence in their protection. This leaves communities discouraged and demanding change.

Youth Development & Mental Health Access
Our Youth are spending more time online and less time engaged in positive, enriching activities. Our city also deals with underfunded mental health services that leave families without clear paths to the support they need.
